How do I determine which dress length to choose?Updated a month ago
When selecting length, we recommend taking your waist to hem measurement in the same or similar shoes you plan to wear for the big day! Many factors can affect how the length falls, so measuring will give you the most accurate idea of what works best for you.
Where to measure for your waist is typically below your rib cage and above your belly button, though exactly where can be a little different for everyone. The best way to determine where to measure is by bending to the side, and wherever your torso creases is where you want to measure for your waist. You’ll then want to measure from your waist down to where you’d like the hem of the dress to fall.
If you’d like a general suggestion, the chart below shows the typical length desired for your height with shoes. For example, if you are 5'3" and wearing a 3" heel, your total height would be 5'6". We might recommend ordering the 43" length option!
